Enjoy a delicious night out (or takeout) at Fuller House! When you order dinner on Tuesday, September 16 at or from Fuller House, a portion of your bill goes directly to benefit the HMS PTO. Fuller House is graciously donating 10% of the evening revenue. Enjoy your favorite dishes while helping fund programs, activities, and resources for our students—it’s a win-win!

HMS Activities Fair

The annual HMS Activities Fair will be Tuesday, September 23, 3:30 - 4:00 pm in the Cafetorium!

The sponsors of all HMS clubs and activities will be there to provide information. Parents are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there! Please contact Mr. May with any questions.

HMS Giveback Shopping Day

Join us for the 2025 fall HMS giveback shopping day from 10 AM until 6 PM on Wednesday, October 8th. Ten percent of sales will be donated back when you mention Hinsdale Middle School at checkout. Pop in to shop new fall favorites and finish the evening at HMS from 7:15-8:45 with Dr. Ethan Kross who will be sharing research-backed strategies that anyone can use to feel more calm, resilient and in control (see below)!

The Community Speaker Series is committed to fostering a sense of community through hosting in-person and virtual events that inform and inspire. CSS is funded jointly by District 86 and District 181 and is supported by the D181 Foundation. Our events are free and open to the public. We encourage everyone to join our events, connect and learn together.

Please take a moment to verify that the directory content for your family is accurate and up to date HERE. You will then have immediate access to the HMS directory! Here's what you need to do:

• Click on Register/Login to sign in or create an account
• Review both the Family Information and the Directory Publish Preferences and make any necessary updates

Once these have been saved, you're done! You can also download the Membership Toolkit mobile app for your convenience to access our directory on the go.

Annual Families Helping Families Donations Request

The PTO Families Helping Families (FHF) Committee has been working with the HMS Social Work Department to support HMS families who need a helping hand. Our mission is to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive at HMS. Your donation will help provide basic items such as school supplies, clothing, furniture, and gift cards. To ensure confidentiality and preserve students' and families' privacy and dignity, all referrals must go through the social workers. We need your support! FHF is completely self-funded and relies solely on the generosity of our HMS community. 100% of your donations fund FHF to assist families who require immediate support while waiting for other resources/programs in the community to be approved.

You can donate via Zelle at treasurer@hmspto.org (memo FHF donation) or a written check to HMS PTO (memo FHF donation) dropped at the main office. If you are interested in joining FHF or staying on (all communications and work done exclusively via email), email FHF chair, Denys Kang, at fhf@hmspto.org. Thanks for your support!
