There are just a few PTO Committee Chair positions that are still open for the 2019-2020 school year. Staff Appreciation – Co-chair needed – Come up with ideas and implement them to show our faculty and staff how appreciated they are. In recent years there have been 4 events, but you are only limited by your imagination! The 4 events celebrated in the past have been principal appreciation day, teacher conference dinner, staff appreciation week, and grading day breakfast in June.
Publicity – Serve as the point of contact for local newspapers and magazines. Gathers information about upcoming newsworthy HMS events and notifies local publishers about said events.
8th Grade Year End Activities – Work with HMS administration to plan graduation, organize the graduation dance and plan the 8th grade breakfast. Ideally these chairs will have an 8th grade student next year.
