24th annual Julie K. Heidecke Tribute Soccer Clinic

The Hinsdale Central High School Girls Soccer program is honored to host the 24th annual Julie K. Heidecke Tribute Soccer Clinic for K-8 soccer players on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 at Hinsdale Central High School’s Fieldhouse from Noon-3pm PM. The long-standing annual event memorializes Julie Heidecke, who was captain of the girls varsity soccer team, varsity girls volleyball team at Hinsdale Central and also played on the freshman team at Illinois State University when she then passed away. Players and staff from both Hinsdale Central’s girls soccer program and Illinois State University’s Redbirds women’s soccer team (Missouri Valley Conference) will be on hand to assist with soccer drills and scrimmages for boys and girls in K-8th grades. Although the event is free of charge, donations are accepted for the Julie K. Heidecke Foundation, which the Heidecke family uses to raise scholarship funds for students who have or will participate in interscholastic sports. All walk-in registrations on the day of the event will be accepted at the Hinsdale Central Fieldhouse. For questions about the clinic or to make a donation to the Heidecke Foundation, please contact Coach Tony Madonia, Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Hinsdale Central at amadonia@hinsdale86.org
