Final week to register for local Little League Softball

We are in our final week of registration for Girls Softball!

Registration for the Spring season closes this Sunday, March 5th.

Visit chll.net and click “register now” to sign up.

There is lots of information and key dates on the “Girl’s Softball” tab on our website. See FLYER for more detail.

This season we are accepting Players born in 2010 or younger.

HMS Spring Fundraiser- Gather for the Garden: April 20th

Buy your tickets HERE for our April 20th Spring Fundraiser, Gather for the Garden, at Casa Margarita to raise funds for the HMS PTO and our new rooftop garden for staff and students. As a reminder, there are only 120 tickets available due to capacity issues. Your ticket price ($75) includes: heavy appetizers, open bar including beer, wine and margaritas and dessert.

We still have exciting sponsorships available including: happy hour, DJ, and raffle.

There is also a Family sponsorship opportunity that allows HMS families to be featured on the plaque in the new garden. For $500, you’ll receive two tickets to the event, inclusion on the garden plaque, and your name featured on our event website and newspaper publication.

Shop, Sip, and Sweets

Is it time for a spring break wardrobe refresh? Some cute and fun accessories? Need some unique gifts? Or maybe a cute top for the spring parent night out! Come shop, sip, and have some sweets at Meredith Jaye in the Burr Ridge location on Thursday March 9, from 7-9 pm. 15% of sales will be donated back to the HMS PTO. Staff Appreciation Pie Day 3.14 (Tues.)

In honor of 3.14, staff appreciation committee will be providing pies for our hard working teachers and staff. We are asking HMS families to contribute pies (sweet or savory, home-baked or store bought). The staff will enjoy them during their lunch break! Drop-offs will be on Tuesday, 3.14 from 7:30-10:30am.
